so, when i shaved my beard, i did it over an old t-shirt, so that the trimmings wouldn't get all over the place. when i was done i sort of folded up the shirt, took a shower and then forgot about it.

my wife took the shirt and tossed it in the laundry, unaware of the trimmings lurking inside. when unloading from the washing machine, we found this tightly packed wad of beard hairs.

it's a beard ball.
