Late spring rains this weekend. Not unheard of for this time of year in Northern California, but a bit unseasonal. It actually rained here most of the morning (hasn't done that since February).

Took a nice walk, watched the clouds moving across the sky, and enjoyed what is likely to be the last rain till October.

Not the weekend I had planned, but still enjoyable.

i think you have the same weather pattern that is hitting us here. For a day of fun it was awful cold, cloudy and rainy. It was a great day to hit the theater for some Indiana Jones!

@wm: it's probably not enough to make a big difference to crops at this time. rain later in the summer can cause mold on the grapes and ruin the crop. rain at this time of year can also be bad if it stimulates growth of the grasses and thereby increases the fuel loads and fire danger. We are already looking at a long, hot, dry summer in Calif and if there is more fuel, it could result in more fires.
