As of May 1st, 2008 I will be setting a new personal record for length of time growing a beard. This record gains me little to nothing but serves as my only indulgence to a curious inquiry that asks "What If?" - What if I grew my beard for more than 6 months? What if I was actually able to make it a full year?

Honestly, I can easily foresee shaving this beast upon my face and joining in on the celebration but I am attempting to be resolute in the mindset that seeing this beard through will gain me something. I'm probably wrong.
