My granddad was driving in his golf cart when a car (apparently) hit him. Knocked him out, both of the cart and consciousness. They airlifted him to the hospital near me, but far from my grandma, so I spent the afternoon in the ER with him waiting to hear the results of the various scans.
Turns out a few staples to the head and stitches to the leg seem to be all that was wrong. Well, that and a totaled golf car. But he can get a new golf cart.
I met my grandma at the halfway point to their home.
Praise God he wasn't killed, or maimed. I'm thankful I live close enough that I could spend that time with him - the ER, during such a period of uncertainty, is not a place t be alone.
well done on being there for your grandpa. A lot of people are jerks and ignore their family cause they selfishly think they have better ways to spend their time. Way to be a stand up grandson.
A handlebar mustache is characterized by the fact that it is bushy and must be worn long enough to curl the ends upward, which is usually achieved with styling wax.
